Rosacea
What is Rosacea
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition which most commonly affects adults. It tends to affect more women than men; however more severe cases seem to occur in men. Rosacea most often affects the nose, cheeks and forehead and is characterized by facial redness, frequent blushing, and enlarged blood vessels. In some more advanced rosacea causes pimples and thickening of the skin on the nose can also occur. These thick red bumps around and on the nose develop when the oil-producing glands and surrounding connective tissues become enlarged.
Rosacea symptoms such as persistent redness, dry skin, broken facial vessels, and pimple-like bumps can be managed and greatly reduced with appropriate rosacea treatments and medical grade products.
